Around 50 absorption wells are made on ten residential islands in Thousand Islands.

Thousand Islands Water Resources Sub-agency Head, Ahmad Saiful said that those wells are under development stage on Panggang Island, Pramuka Island, Kelapa Island, Kelapa Dua Island, Harapan Island, Tidung Island, Untung Jawa Island, Payung Island, Lancang Island, and Sebira Island.
"We make them to anticipate puddles and being a groundwater reserve," he expressed, Friday (4/26).
15 Absorption Wells Built in Monas AreasThese wells that have 50-60 centimeters depth and 40 centimeters width will be made on roads that prone to puddles.
"It is targeted to be completed by June 2019," he said.
